Nice drive by Mizzou. Now let's see if KU can answer.

Tony Temple needs to have the ball in his hands a LOT tonite. He's the one guy who looks like he's not awed by the situation. Beautiful runs.

Both teams real tight to start this game.

But Mizzou showing the talent difference now.

Agree with putting the ball in Temple's hands AMAP.

Doh! - Pinkle ran the TE screen on 4th and 1?

Jeezus, is KU's kicker a Florida State transfer? Jayhawks showing early that they've never played a quarterfinal game before.

A few observations about the 1st half:

All week long, all I heard was about how weak and suspect MU's defense was. Well, I think they heard that shit too, but guess what? They can play a liitle D now and then when they have to. It's just that they usually don't have to.

KU's D isn't that shabby either. Holding Mizzou to 14 1st half points woudn't suck for any team.

Pinkel has got some brass fucking balls and is playing to beat the living snot out of them despicable Jayhawks. Rack him! 30 more minutes, baby.

Fuck Kansas, fuck 'em raw. Fuck every miserable piece of shit who ever claimed that team as their own, especially those who actually live in Missouri, of which there are way too many. Eat shit and die.

Rack Mizzou.

One look at the score and it's easy to blame it on the offense melting down in the red zone. But truth is, Mizzou had the better team, from top to bottom, up and down the roster.

Not just tonight, but on any night.

Reesing had to go to the mat for every yard he got. Daniel looked about as nervous as a guy brushing his teeth. He never pressed.

If not for Pinkel's bizarre calls, that game was probably over halfway through the third.

Good luck against OU. Can't say I'll be rooting for you, but you have most definitely earned it.

Either of those teams would have 4 losses if they played in the SEC meatgrinder.

Sincerely,

Congrats to Adel and Wagon, nice win. Just one game away now from playing for ALL THE MARBLES. OU is going to be very tough in the CCG, hope Mizzou has one more in them.

KU moved the ball and had opportunities, they just didn't quite get the points on the board. Props to them on hanging-tough after getting behind.

Thanks, dude. That took some class. I know how bad it has to hurt losing.

Props to the 'hawks for making what looked like it was going to be a blowout into a real nail biter at the end. That clock couldn't move fast enough to suit me the entire 4th qtr. Nice team you've got there.

At the end i was only left with a really gigantic whew.

Nice win MizzouFan. Good luck next week vs. the Sooners. Should be a great game.

Sounds crazy, but this Buckeye fan doesn't really mind what happens next week.

Let us enjoy this for a few days first, RF.

But yeah, our "reward" for winning the North is having another shot at OU. Yippee!

It's right about now I wish the XII didn't have a CCG. We'd be a certain lock for the BCS title game right now as is.

Oh well, if Mizzou is really worthy of that opportunity, I reckon we've got another gigantic hurdle to get over. This is how it should be.

We respect OU greatly, but we're damn sure not afraid of you.

Nope- this one's on a neutral field and Mizzou will have Tony Temple. And I'm guessing that Jeremy Maclin's not gonna be running into Chase Daniel on a fake reverse again.

Just home from the Game, so please pardon me if my post seems a bit hoarse...

KU in the game? I reckon. Er, theoretically. But up 21, there was little doubt in the stands. Tigs woulda hung fiddy on 'em had the Chickens showed early. Squacks couldn't run and Chase toyed with the Kan'tsas secondary all night. Took a slew of pics, and I'll post 'em quick as I sober up tomorrow...

Oh, bought a Border War Edition Star on the way out proclaiming Mizzou #1. Sweet!
