Breaks the record for most points scored in a D-1 game.
I seem to remember Boise St. beating a team last year in the BCS. Of course, I don't need to tell you which school.

No, I never went to Boise State. Ever go to the Bush Company in Anchorage?

It amazes me how you see these hot chicks/skanks in such a remote town. Kodiak was like that also.

is that right?

what was the pre OT record, was it the 82-42 OU-CU game like i've seen posted before....i woulda thought there had to be a WAC game inn day that more points than that....seems. Fairbanks asked Switzer to call off the dogs that day. a local (Denver) pair of radio morons always reference that game by saying "Joe Washington had a big day that day, those silver shoes...blah blah blah".....of course that game was in 81 and Little Joe graduated in 75.

wanna guess who i'm talking about , MikeCUfan?

wow, just rolled in from the game and needless to say an almost surreal feel to the whole thing....all i can say is that it's really a shame one of those teams had to lose.....pure heart (but not much defense) on both sides

by the third OT the vast majority of players could barely get to their feet.....it's hard to believe a stadium of 30,000 can get that loud.....

another all timer.....
get out, get out while there's still time

I think Boise would be one of the better places in the country to see a game.

That was one incredible game.

Wonder if Chris Peterson would be interested in becoming a husker.

What's to be confused about?

This game broke the record for most points scored in a D-1 game, which was previously held by the Kentucky-Arkansas game a few years ago.

OU and CU held the record for most points scored in a regulation-only game until the 2004 Rice-SJSU game broke it.

I thought the OU-CU game was the record-holder still, but double-checked the NCAA record book to be sure 'cause I thought it might have been broken by UK-Arkansas.

it's confusing because you don't give any of the actual record scores....in statements about high scoring records.

Man, it's been more than 7 years, and even when I lived there, I didn't pay a whole lot of attention to the Broncos circle jerk... err, local sports talk radio. (Not that the PHX guys are any better, but at least we have Bob Kemp, who was nationally syndicated for a while and is pretty funny in a grumpy, cynical kinda way.)

Well, at least the defenses seem well-rested.
