Helio Sequence.

OK, so maybe I'm not all that into it, but I must pimp my Beaverton homies. They do seem to be blowing up, though.

And, for the 800th time, I will also pimp my boys Dr. Theopolis --

I saw Helio Sequence open up for Modest Mouse and hated them, but I've since changed my mind after hearing "Young Effectuals".

Warren Haynes can definitely play the guitar. He's been around for a while and also plays with the Allman Bros. Govn't Mule is the type of band that sounds better live, in other words, good musicians.....IMO. 8) They usually come to San Diego about once a year.

This is a band that I guess has been getting a lot of radio play in some parts of the country, but since I rarely listen to the radio I haven't heard any of their recorded stuff.

That is until the other day when I discovered some of their recent shows on the live music archive....

The Garza brothers give me some hope that maybe the younger generation isn't completely lost after all. These kids can definitely rock.
