I hope RCR and AT&T take NASCAR to the cleaners in court next month.

I don't like it any more than you do. I think it freaking sucks out loud.

But, Nascar's right. Kinda like the tuck rule.

How EXACTLY is NASCAR "right"? AT&T/Cingular has sponsored the 31 car since BEFORE Sprint/Nextel became the title sponsor of that series....the fact that AT&T and Cingular merged recently should have no bearing WHATSOEVER on Sprint.

No, Cingular was the sponsor, not ATT. They already lost in court and will continue to do so.

Hey, I hope I'm wrong...

Jeez, Paul.

What, you couldn't find something else more worth bitching about than this?

Sprint is the title sponsor of NASCAR spending bazillions. I think they're quite within their proprietary rights to demand that a major competitors logo be kept out.

Cingular was grandfathered in. AT&T was not.

Hey, here's an idea for AT&T. After Sprints 10 year contract is up, maybe they can sponsor the series and demand that Sprint (or whomever) then be kept out.

Would that make you feel better?
