Holding the Gators to 3 wasn't the worst thing in the world...still a two possession game.

Only cost them 3 points. They still have enough time to go down the field before the half.

How about "punting?"

It's very easy to second guess when they failed to get the first...
Yeah, what moron besides Jim Sweeney would go on 4th down deep in their own territory when the game is far from over? :meds:

Psst... Idiot. You know that team that beat you at home?

This is what we did to them in just over 3 quarters... before we called off the wolves.

... and yes, I'm the only one on this board that said Boise State would beat Oklahoma, and one of the only ones to "pick" Florida in this game!

You can't doubt these guys until they fail...let's see what they bring to the table in the third quarter.

please tell me you aren't trying to set up a "I was just trolling you" defense for the absolute beating you put on yourself in that other forum?

Please fucking tell me I didn't just read that?

Please?

When I suggested you "stop," I was actually being sincere, dipshit.
What ever gave you that idea?

I mentioned that the officials were from the PAC10 and made joke about Oregon.
It wasn't meant to be any kind of bait, but you sure latched onto it and immediately just had to rerun the whole OU vs OU controversy.

Insecure much?

If Tressel is the coach most of us think he is, the Bucks will have something for the Gators. If not, it's just a matter of Meyer proving he's one of the best minds in the college game.

You mean where I was the only one here to "pick" Boise State" over Oklahoma?

Or, being one of only two, to pick Florida over Ohio State?

I think the "crap" is laying in your yard, sister fucker.

Combo of factors here:

Turnovers and the stupid 4th-and-1 decision are killers. You can't do that stuff and expect to win against a quality team

Meyer has had a month to gameplan to his offense's strengths and it was time well-spent. For the first time in a bowl we're seeing Tressel getting outcoached.

OSU just may not be as good as we thought. Wiscy wasn't on the sched. Texas was obviously overrated. Plus USC looked significantly better against Mich than OSU did.

But there is another half to go and Tressel has tradtionally been money in bowls. Maybe they turn this one around yet.

Unless you have money on the games, who gives a shit? Are you going to stitch those picks on a pillow so you can look back on it from years to come and tell your grandkids about it? Bravo, you pulled a couple of picks out of your ass...

Is Florida's defense really fast or is Smith really not as quick as once thought?

Telling his guys to actually block a D-lineman might be a good "adjustment." Maybe by the third quarter, he can move on to the advanced adjustments, like picking up a blitz....wait, better stick with the basics to start. Maybe just go with blocking the D-linemen for now.

HORRIBLE game prep by Sweatervest...HORRIBLE.

Shit...I think Florida's band just scored a TD.

Florida's defense has been OUTSTANDING. Which is what I remember from seeing their games this season.

I guess Chris Leak got tired of hearing what a bad big-game QB and what a choker he is for the last few weeks.

And we are still the 2005 MNC while kal is still the suck. you do realize you won the holiday bowl, if you don't understand, that is the bowl game that means nothing just like the Alamo bowl. Enjoy your holiday bowl victory no one else cares. That victory does not give you scoreboard on anyone except for aggsy.

You know, in the 14 years he's started there, that's the impression I've always gotten...every time I turn my freaking TV on a saturdays, that guy is carving someone up.

Not sure where all of the criticism came from.
