The Red Violin

Very good movie. The only actor I had heard of was Samuel L Jackson, I thought his performance lacked visual emotions. I'm a huge Sam Jackson fan but it's obvious he's a much better aggressive, vocal character actor than a thoughtful, emotional one.

Very good characters and dialogue.

If you like Samuel L- rent The Caveman's Valentine- he was fantastic as an insane pianist who lives in Central Park- great movie.
