Regardless of whether your like hillbilly or corn music, these 2 were / still are 2 of the best pickers in country / bluegrass music. Buck picked acoustial guitar country / bluegrass style as good as the greats, the Stanley Bros, and influenced a lot of the younger pickers today.

I saw Buck live a few times, and got to meet him at John Ascuga's in Reno back in 1979.

According to CBS he was still playing every Thursday and Friday night in his adopted hometown of Neckersfield right up until the end.

He left Friday's show, went home, and was gone.

RACK and RIP.

Never really though that buck's playing was anything special. I figured he was the grinnin' one and left the serious pickin' to Roy.

Nothing. I am refering to past use of limbaughspeak such as algore or assumes room temp etc... and how it inevitably brings the libs out of the woodwork with claims that we must be mind numbed coolaid drinking dittoheads.

Alice Cooper passed on Hee Haw.

Come to think of it, I don't remember KISS appearing on Hee Haw either.

You don't know me but you don't like me
Say you care less how I feel.
How many of you who sit and judge me
have ever walked the streets of Bakersfield.

I watched Hee Haw for the same reason(s) I watched the Dukes of Hazzard... and it wasn't for the content.
