Think Madden on MNF is bad?

Post by Louis Cyphre »

Wait until you hear the duo of Al Micheals and Joe Theismann when MNF moves to ESPN!

Just another reason why anything you say about the NFL doesn't mean shit. You're a dumbshit Paul, bottom line. Stick to commenting on drag racing.

I always thought Theismann was an arrogant fuck, but whether that made him bad at his job or not, I don't know. I guess his job was to talk about football, and since he played in the NFL and I didn't, it's hard for me to say he's a bad judge of the game.

I'd rather listen to Theisman than Madden, that's for damn sure.

They could've put Moose....errr Darrel Johnston or Troy Aikman. Not that I'm bias or anything. Theisman is the king of all tards and listening to him will be painful.

So, if someone has an opinion that you don't agree with, regarding a freaking color analyst nonetheless, that means anything they say about the NFL doesn't mean shit?

Right.... :meds:

this is the big break Theismann always wanted: a free forum to talk about himself in front of the big nationwide audience.

I'd bet that if some of you fuckers were in a bar, and a dog walked by the front door, you'd be arguing whether or not the dog would shit or piss first.

What's wrong with that? Loser buys the next round.

BTW, my money is always on the dog pissing.

I wasn't speaking up for Paul so much as I was once again beating you down. Someone has to do it, else you might think Cowsnatch fan has free reign.
Wags shut the fuck up and watch some softball...
Odds aren't good on me shutting up, but I'm always game to watch some softball.

Choose your battles a little more wisely, DF.

Lining up to take lame potshots on (insert posters name) whom you think is currently vulnerable won't earn you any points.

At least we wouldn't have to worry about the dog talking about itself nor telling us what's "going through _________'s mind right now, as a quarterback."

Lets face it, both dudes' acts have worn quite thin.

Seriously now, isn't there some other choice.....?

I'd rather listen to Madden than Theesman.

Theesman as "king of the 'tards" ain't far off, IMO.

You could always turn off the TV sound and turn up the Westwood One radio broadcast to hear Marv Albert and Boomer Esiason wax poetic.

That's the routine here every Sunday and Monday night, and during the playoffs.
Compared to Theesman, Boomer is a sophist. And at least Marv actually calls the game. Dave Sims is the best voice on Westwood One, though. Howard David was great as well.

Luckily, there's a Tulsa station that carries the Chiefs Radio Network, so Mitch and Len are on here as well.

I just wish Sirius was in real time. Hell, I'd take Raider or Donk announcer over Michaels, any day of the week, even if they were playing KC.

The worst however, is Mike Patrick on ESPN. Dude acts as if he's calling the final play in overtime in the Super Bowl during running plays for 1-yard gains. He needs to just die the next time he has a heart attack -- hopefully during the first ESPN preseason game when he's slobbering over Ray Lewis or one of their other darlings. Joel Myers waxes poetic compared to that assclown.

Remember, MNF is going to get the shit games that Sunday Night Football is currently getting in 06. Those riveting Minnesota/New Orleans, Cleveland/Miami, and Chicago/San Francisco matchups.
