Our local “committee” of turkey vultures, enjoying some sunshine between showers. The one on the pole appears to be conducting the others in the tree. We’ll call him Dudamel.

The joys of RV life... A little gross but funny shit

Good riddance.

It is LSU Day at the Capitol, so of course the newly crowned national champions visited. Did the best I could with the pics, it was during the floor session so I couldn't get closer.

Wolfman, your Syracuse team is on ESPNU now in a great game vs Towson in the NCAA lacrosse playoffs. 8-8 almost to halftime

Fell pretry hard this morning. Water on the floor after my shower, it happened fast. Don't think anything is broken but bruised and sore now.

I didn't know we had other lax fans in here! [Besides Laxplayer, that is. No spoilers, please...
I was offline with no TV all weekend and am watching the games today & tomorrow. Thanks!

I’m not an NBA fan, but I watch some during the playoffs.
The second half of Dallas-OKC game 6 was a blast. That was some of the best basketball I’ve seen in years.
Wish I’d seen the second half of Nuggets-Wolves last night. I fell asleep when it seemed Denver had it locked up.

Played goalie for TCU, 3x all conference, 3x captain. Then coached LSU for a bit. Alas, had to stop once law school started but it was fun while it lasted.
No spoilers, but the games this weekend were amazing. Those guys are so much better than I ever was, all that shooting behind the back and perfect shot placement would have made me look like a fool in the net lol

Be careful. Accidental falls in the home are one of the leading causes of injury to our older citizens, often leading to long term disabilities and even death. There are a lot of exercises you can do, if not already incorporating these kinds of movements in your daily life, to improve your balance. My wife wants to put handrails in the bathroom and shower, but I’m not quite ready for that. When I can no longer step into my underwear while standing without support, then I might consider it.

Dude, do that immediately. And while you're at it, install an ADA compliant toilet as well. It is a few inches taller, and you and your wife will be grateful every single day. You'll wonder why you waited so long to do it.

Seriously... I've been a fu<king cripple since a fall on ice on 9 February, 2004, and another fall in a bathroom on 1 August, 2016.
The house of cards has been tumbling since, and i live from my hospital bed. Don't take your mobility for granted.
Trust me, Install those bars before you "need" them.

About the time I think my industry is dangerous I hear stories about office jockeys with their bodies falling apart and wonder if risking my fingers is better or worse than some of the medical stuff you white collar guys go through.
