99% of the time it's a waste of money to have a car in cities like NYC and the District. But in the 0.01% of the time when you really could use one, it's priceless. I did the math for if I had decided to have a car here, I'd have spent $50,000 on having that piece of shit around. Hopefully I don't go bust fighting Covid 19 but that's $50k I'd rather have in my pocket than the moneypit of unnecessary car ownership.
