Why don't you contribute something original instead of just link posting and gifs of people picking their noses. Project much?

I just watched a short video from a market in that part of china and it was so disgusting I almost puked!

Dogs and Cats in cages and then taken out one by one and skinned alive....Bats for soup, bugs and insects, every animal you can imagine slaughtered right there on the spot and blood everywhere! Primitive SAVAGES! I would post it here but you couldn't put enough warning !!!!! disclaimers to prepare you for the horror.

Google "Dogs Cats Bats Cages China market"

In my opinion, there are 1 billion too many chunks. I hope Corona wipes them out completely! Go Corona, Go!

I suppose a completely disingenuous comparison between flu and coronavirus could be described as a lie.
While much of the world is focused on the coronavirus outbreak, influenza continues to take its toll in the United States, where an estimated 15 million people have been infected and 8,200 have died from the disease so far this flu season.

While the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said those numbers aren't unusually high, they're far higher than the 4,583 cases of coronavirus and 106 deaths confirmed worldwide as of Tuesday morning.
106 of 4,583 is a 2.3% mortality rate. 2.3% of 15 million would be 345,000. If that many people in this country had died this flu season, I think it would be a pretty big fucking deal.

It is inevitable that, at some point, a bug is going to get loose and thin the herd.

So many dumb rumors out. Is it true bats were hibernating this time of year in Wuhan, and would not have been part of anyone's taco stand uma delicia? Or false?

Is it true the US is making quarantined travellers sign a legal document that they will not enter federal buildings? or is that normal boilerplate? They're quarantined. How would they travel?

What happened to the Asians who went to London then decided to go off the grid? It's impossible they would be lost in the land of the cctv.

Was the Harvard professor really picked up for bribery, or to fix this mess? Is he in real jail or Silence of the Lambs jail?

North Africans are being evacuated, Sub-Saharans are not. I don't know why. One African government said they were told there would be consequences for attempting to leave like the Americans and Japanese. UN won't do shit. What's the point of making all of that money via graft and corruption if you can't rescue your people? Nigeria itself is sitting on billions. South Africa is supposed to be in the best position out of all.

Everyone is afraid of the Chinese government.

Anyway,
https://www.latimes.com/world-nation/st ... -no-escape

Dr. Khamis Bakari has a story. We should listen to what he says between the lines. It's a lot more truthful than what Trump claimed last night about it being a small problem, under control.

Bakari does say no African student has it yet. Perhaps that will remain the case. I hope he is not punished for using Swahili to talk about his experiences within Wuhan; and that all of the students and doctors make it home alive and in one piece.

Those people are still countrymen?

Here's the problem. The United states is a benevolent country.
Remember when GW Bush and Pelosi gave 50 billion in aid to Africa? That's what we do.
And not just our tax dollars, BUT, our churches have sent missionaries out across the globe for years and years.
It's the criminal left wing socialists who rule over these countries who steal the aid we send. Effectively keeping their own people in poverty.

Stop being brainwashed by the left wing fake propaganda news.

We are the shining light of liberty.
You left wing socialists can go to hell.

I did find it amusing when flying this weekend that people were wearing masks but only had them covering their mouths. Idiots.

Reminds me of the photo of passengers wearing the oxygen masks only over their mouths a few years ago.

I was sitting in the Powell St BART station last Thursday waiting for a ride to SFO when a guy walks up to me saying help me out man. I’ve got colon cancer!! My colostomy bag broke and I can’t afford a new one!! Then he opens his long coat to show me his shit stained pants.

Fuck. I could still smell the dude a few minutes after he walked away.

Got on the train, which was packed, and probably 20% of the riders were wearing those fucking masks. No room to sit down so I had to grab one of those hanging straps but where am I gonna wash my fucking hands after that? How many infected people (coronavirus OR flu OR whatever other incurable infections) have touched that strap in the past 24 hours? When I got to the airport I rushed to the nearest restroom while trying to make sure I didn’t put my hand on my face or in my pocket or even touch my backpack.

This was real. It was not a nightmare. I don’t have any symptoms yet and keeping my fingers crossed. Think I’ll Uber next time.

Small hand sanitizer squeeze bottles are a thing these days. Just saying. They will easily fit in your pocket.

My business brings me to SF 4-6 times a year, generally fly into SFO or OAK and take BART to the Embarcadero station. I've seen and smelled some weird stuff but nothing what you described - fuck. I already plan to carry some latex gloves on my next trip. Now thinking maybe a couple of large Ziplock bags as well in case I come across your new friend.

I have a spritzer one that is like a big pen, with a clip for your pocket and everything. You can even refill it. I don’t use it much cause I’m not paranoid nor do I shake hands with shit handles very often, but I do have one in the backpacking gear for wound sanitation and fire starting.

I've kept a small bottle of Jergens in my pocket for years. I sneak into a bathroom and squeeze one off at least a couple of times a week.

I used to take BART from Fremont to Berkeley daily when I was in college. Never had a problem with anyone. Of course, that was way back in the seventies. My son just got done going to school in SF, and he said the city is now a shithole. It's a shame. :(

Yeah and I even forgot to wear my plastic boxers.

While the incident I wrote about was absolutely true, thinking back on it I start to wonder.

Dude was obviously an experienced panhandler. I made accidental eye contact for a split second from about 20 feet away and he was right in front of me within a few seconds. He had his come-on down pat up to and including opening his coat to show me his shit-stained pants. You have to have a Clipper card with $$ credit on it to get through the turnstiles and down to the tracks (though I guess he could have jumped the gate). I'm pretty sure that there are places you can go in the city, if you're that down and out, to get a free replacement colostomy bag if you really need one. Plus, once he saw I wasn't coughing up any bills he was off to his next target right quick.

I don't know. The guy did smell like shit, but that might just have been Eau de Market Street.
