Please bear with the fact I am barely computer literate.
Anyone know if there is a reliable way to separate a PDF file into separate pages without purchasing the upgrade?

Does your work have Adobe Acrobat? That's how I do it, or else, you're right. I'd be stuck because Reader doesn't do it.

Unfortunately just Reader. I saw a couple of free sites where you upload documents and it separates the pages but am more then a bit suspicious. May just bite the bullet and upgrade if a better option is not available.

One way to do it is first DL a free tool like http://www.cutepdf.com/
Then i each page you want separated, click "print" and use cutepdf to "print" that one page in it's own pdf document
Takes a little more time, but it is free
