Be careful if you're planning on booting the Steam disk. The default setting is to wipe the primary drive.
It's a pretty "alpha" release, so you really need to read the release notes so you won't be frustrated.

man..it's pretty amazing so far...i can see how someone could get bored of it...


my first day in game i was running down the highway and was approached by another white guy with no weapons etc...we started BSing in the live chat and this black dude comes running up ...same as us...really without gear...so the guy i was talking to was like "lets beat up the black guy!" "OK!" ..but the black dude started laughing and was like fuck you guys i'm out! and took off running...we chased but the black dude was fast! after about a minute of chasing we stopped and just BS'd with each other...i was brand new and he had played for a few weeks....then all of a sudden BLAM! i'm dead..then he's dead. apparently sniped from a guy in the bushes.


anyhow, we respawned and headed towards a few diff towns...found a mountain back pack i have a few med supplies in....then found a fire station (where the kid tells me there's always goodies in) and sure enough, found a pair of military pants, military vest and a .45 ...found a clip on the roof (weird?).

at the moment tho my screen is grey, i'm in bad need of a blood transfusion.

if you die...you better hope you can get back to your body or else looters will pick you clean!

if say, you do die, and you can't get back to your body (sometimes it's seriously a 30 minute hike) just start rumagging thru houses, usually you can find more goodies (tho beit not the military stuff, you have to go to bases for that!)

holler if anyone decides to get this game...it's a trip

man, this game is so crazy good...


there's no missions per se...there's no quests or things you HAVE to do..it's just survival.



you CANNOT trust anyone. at all.

i've been burned so many times by poeple who say they're friends..only to blow my brains out when i gturn my back to them...or catch an axe to the back of the skull.

i've gotten to the point where...if i see anyone witha gun....i shoot first...hands up or not....tired of losing my good shit by trying to be a good samaritan.
