WOW

Post by Wolfman »

Just realized no one gives a rat's ass about baseball these days. More concern over Jim Harbaugh's future I guess.

That was fun watching JV mow down the Yankees. He's the only reason I give any shits about the playoffs. He had some strong games for the Tigers in October but I don't remember him throwing this well. He was great.

I love this stat...Kershaw threw 87 pitches, Verlander threw 93 strikes.

Yes that was impressive. Not many complete games these days especially in a play off game. Altuve batting over .600 against NY. Looks like the Astros are headed for the WS barring a complete collapse. BTW--how did the league allow Houston to pick up Verlander like that?

What do you mean allow? He cleared waivers after July 31 so they could make a trade with any team. They got the trade done a basically the last second possible.

I've watched most of the games, and enjoyed then quite thoroughly.

I pretty much hate the Dodgers, but I'll watch any game that Master Kershaw pitches. Verlander has been good, as has Tanaka.

October is the time for MLB players to put on their big boy pants and make some memories.

I see Dusty Baker is out in DC. The Yankees are making it a series. Verlander up next. I'll be watching.
