Not in. First off not all conf champs are included. 2nd we will get two loss teams in there. A 10-2 team doesn’t deserve a shot IMO.
Make it 6 with the power 5 conference champs and 1 at large. The at large automatically goes to a group of 5 conference champion if they are in the top 15 at the end of the year and have no more than 1 loss. Independent team need to be undefeated to get the at large spot. If they have a loss they need to be in the Top 4 at the end of the year.

i like criteria where it's decided on the field. not computers or "selections". or committees.
let's just commit to that. go from there.
who fucking cares if team X is the best at the end of the year.....really, if they lose they lose. living is being responsible for your actions.
the last Carson Palmer team at USC was the team that could beat anyone at the end of the year IMO. they beat Miami or Nebraska that year, promise you.
i'm tired of trying to finesse or psychologize or algorithm everything.
