Yeah, pretty good hire in terms of name value. With his NBA experience as a player and coach, he should be able to recruit well. Time will tell if he can coach at the college level. It's a different game than the NBA.

Too funny.

Oh yeah, if you could... can you tell me where "Cal" ended up in the rankings ?

Thanks again, SS

Actually, they kind of sucked. Didn't even come close to the top in the Pac-12, let alone the country.

So what is your point again, tools?

So, you're no Arizona.

Now that is too funny.

Over many years, is taking second place in the SEC (after UK) really something worth fighting for?

LSU has the most fun individual player this year. And they might even get a seat at the table, anb might make it to the second round before getting shithammered.

For my money that distinction goes to Denzel Valentine, but I'm a tad biased.

I still haven't seen much of Simmons. Mostly because that would require taking time out of my day to watch LSU basketball. But if the kid is as good as everyone says he is (#1 draft pick, etc) then all I can say is Johnny Jones is one seriously shitty coach.

I've seen very little, but what I have goes something like:

Throw it to Simmons at the point

4 players then clear out, and watch Simmons pound the rock for 289 seconds

Simmons, with 5 defenders on him, busts out an amazing dribble move, and gets a shot off

He follows his brick, gets the board, and makes it

Lather, rinse, repeat
