USA v. Canada Gold Cup PET

Post by Mac22 »

drove with a friend from Madison to Detroit on Tuesday for opening round games of the Gold Cup. Contemplated going to a few closer matches, but decided we wanted to see the USMNT more. Checked out some of the pre-game festivities and had a few pints at Cheli's place a few blocks away. Got there early for the Panama v. Guadalupe match, but not nearly as entertaining.

Evidently Canada was REALLY worried about our FKs. When I played in college we never had more than 5 in a wall. They had 7 and 6 a handful of times.

I take it you didn't sit among Sam's Army or the American Outlawz. A shame because they get down.

sadly no. If ever I make it to another match, I definitely plan on sitting over there for at least a half.

Not many fans of the national team in Ontario, they don't want to play here so no one really cares about them.
Nice looking stadium, you're right on top of the field.
