President Trump and the first lady are quarantining and being tested for the coronavirus after a close adviser to the White House, Hope Hicks, has tested positive for the virus. Hicks is considered one of the president's closest allies and traveled with him on Air Force One both to Tuesday night's debate and to a rally in Minnesota on Wednesday.

I do not expect a market "crash" today (unless perhaps another shoe drops), but futures are down significantly.

I expect a pretty large sell-off today because I don't think people will feel real comfortable holding stocks over the weekend, given the uncertainty.

More news could come out this weekend that will start next week off in a very bad way.

White House security official reported to be gravely ill with COVID-19


A White House security official is reportedly “gravely ill” after contracting COVID-19 in September, Bloomberg reports.

The publication identified the official as Crede Bailey, who heads the White House’s security office. He has reportedly
been receiving hospital care since September.

The Hill has reached out to the White House for comment.

According to Bloomberg, which cited four sources familiar with official’s condition, Bailey grew sick before the Rose Garden
