The nazi socialists are the enemy of liberty. We trump supporters hold liberty as sacrosanct.

You are the resident nazi socialist left wing government control freak.

Good luck with that you pitiful piece of lying dogshit.

It's bad enough.

JSC's link is right: that was an uncalled for abuse of the use of the military. Very bad decision making. Does Trump really feel that afraid of citizens? He needs to slow down. It's not that serious.

What do you think should happen at this point, honestly?

After Pearl Harbor was bombed FDR refused suggestions to put light tanks around the White House, fearing that the sight would portray the White House as being under seige.

He also wasn't a pussy like Bunker Boy.

Note, Lafayette Park also wasn't closed during WWII.

Huggy Barr was up on the Hill to face questioning today.

Nutsy Pelosi was later asked about it on The Beat, with Ari Melber.

Nutsy: He (Barr) should be answering for what he did at Lafayette Square, a disgrace. So this
– it's really – he was like a blob. He was like a – just a henchman for the President of the
United States instead of the Attorney General of the United States of America.

He only did it long enough for the campaign commercial footage. He is, though, expanding to Chicago, Milwaukee and Detroit so hopefully he won't have learned any lessons.

The cities where these feds have been deployed clearly did t want help. So don’t send them. However, if the local city governments refuse to protect Federal facilities like courthouses then the Feds should step in. As a tax payer I don’t want to see Federal facilities destroyed.

Further if citizens of Portland or Seattle or Chicago reach out to their cities and aren’t getting help, they should ask the Feds for help. For example, if my business were located in the CHOP/CHAZ is would have sued the city and asked the state and Feds to step in and return order.

What about when the feds break local laws? Should the local authorities be able to crack fed heads open like you think is ok when the citizens break fed law?

The person nominated by the GOP to run the executive branch, and who actually wins and is in office this very moment floats “no election” and the fat man is all, nothing to see here. Why? Because some other elephants aren’t buying it.

You are a colossal piece of crap.

Even the right wing of the GOP is fed up, just not BrokenPsyche.

“Until recently, I had taken as political hyperbole the Democrats’ assertion that President Trump is a fascist,” Calabresi wrote in an op-ed for the New York Times. “But this latest tweet is fascistic and is itself grounds for the president’s immediate impeachment again by the House of Representatives and his removal from office by the Senate.”

Yes, it can. It's up to Congress, though.
The Congress may determine the Time of chusing the Electors, and the Day on which they shall give their Votes; which Day shall be the same throughout the United States.

Meaning it's not going to be changed short of a radical exceptional event. Covid is not that radical exceptional event. Trump should not have made the suggestion. It makes him look weak, like he's not concerned about maintaining a measure of normalcy in abnormal circumstances.

Congress should not entertain changing the date. To do so is to admit defeat, the defeat of the nation, the defeat of normalcy, the defeat of stability in the face of challenging circumstances.

What is either party doing to ensure things go smoothly this year?

Hi, mvscal. That was my honest take. Sometimes it feels like Trump forgets he is the President, and not someone looking in on the President.

As President, everything he says publically is written on company letterhead or via company email, representing the company as an official communication.

The tweet came off as 'just spitballing, here' ... but he can't do that officially. He needs a troll account to do that shit under. Not his named account.

As for normalcy, you're right. As President, though, he still has a duty to present an image of rock steadyness. Election Day is the no-brainer. This is a man who brought back Americana tank parades for the Fourth, and signed off on a sea to shining sea display of military aircraft over the 50 states this spring. The return to 50s normalcy.

He can do that, but can't be firm about demanding elections be held on time, and safely? None of this shit adds up, mvscal. It is not consistent.

I know why he said it, for all that. But his official twitter handle was not the avenue to say it under.
