Did you have a Headshock?

Not a whole lot of travel, but absolutely no flex. Handles as sharply as a rigid fork.

Cannondale did some neat shit. Ever see a Lefty? Every time I see one, I still find it hard to believe it doesn't snap off.

Not sure, but it was screamin yellow with the full suspension, soft ride. I went off road and it went thru rough terrain like butter. But I preferred the normal bike/jogging trails.
Got a nice leg workout and cardio workout every time.

Don't care. You asked for activity ideas, and I've given you one. I'd like to see pics, even if you think they are crap. What is your norm is stuff that I've never seen in my life, so really, please do a PET.
I would be down to look at such a PET. I have always wanted to go to and above the Arctic Circle and see the wildlife and geography. Don't know if I will make it in my lifetime, but help some bros out here maybe.

Hiking, snowshoeing, new deck, and home improvement are all on the to do list. If this panic gets super crazy we can kill a deer, turkey or elk right in the back yard.
Nice area. I can also whack any of those meals in my yard too.

Check your PMs, I have a question for you and did not want to hijack the thread.

No doubt every single person on this board has a list of shit they've been meaning to do around the house. Now's the time to do it. If anything get out there and get some of your flower beds taken care of, or if you're smackaholic, dig a hole in the ground for no apparent reason. There's always something to do.

In the deep bush, I was always offered fresh caught salmon by elderly women, with a polite 'quyana'. Every gussiq (Cossack) is offered fresh caught salmon during fishing season. It's a cultural thing. You will never go hungry, as a visitor in the deep bush, unless you choose to go hungry. Native Alaskans will not let you go hungry. It's unthinkable.

I'm not a fisherman, or a cook, so receiving fresh fish half again as tall as I am was something out of the cultural norm for me.

Those who've lived up here can attest or not.

Did your front fork have a traditional shock (one each fork) or a single shock where the fork meets the steerer tube? That was what Cannondale called the headshock.

We will see about that, homeboy back in Forest Grove says there are National Guard vehicles filling the entire parking lot and lining the streets leading up to it in an industrial area. Never seen that in the 55 years I lived there.

Got the tires. Played golf Saturday (saw your friend at Killarney), and Sunday as well.

And the golf courses get to stay open during the "lockdown."

If you've never flushed a 3-wood into the green on a par 5, you just wouldn't understand.

Not a huge fan of full-suspension bikes, my thought is that those are for pretty extreme single track and bombing downhill nasty terrain. I prefer the tighter feel and response from a hardtail.

Edit: I've seen your PET's, I don't believe you are a Faggot, so shit can those lime green pedals and remove the piece 'o shit bottle cages for fuck sake.
That pic was taken by the previous owner. He wanted those hideous bottle cages. No loss. Who the fukk uses bottles on a MTB anyway? I always take my camelback. The equally hideous pedals are now on my 29er. I put SPDs on it.

On a side note, I attempted do do some easy single track with the OL this afternoon. That didn't go well. Back to the rails to trails for her.

That course can be so wet and sloppy sometimes. Nothing but pure creek bottom ground. My buddy built his house there years ago, he's married to Joe's daughter. Is the old coot still tottering around or did he finally croak ? After about 10 years of that place flooding and his wife having to haul kids and groceries by boat, they moved out to the farm. His kid lives in the house now.

What the hell is wrong with the bottle cages?
It is all in the type of riding you are doing in a given outing. Nothing if you are on paved or smooth roads/trails. In rougher terrain they will not hold a bottle for very long.
