Just got back from hospital...

Sunday night I was having trouble breathing and I thought my left arm was going numb
so I called Uber and they took me to the emergency room....

They did all kinds of tests and kept me overnight until yesterday....

Finally today...they said I was okay to go home....

It was a close one...I thought it was over....

Basically doctors told me that I can't drink 4 bottles of wine in 24 hours and to avoid stressful situations...

So IB...thank you for the emails about my well being. You are a good friend!

Space it out to a couple of glasses of red wine a day.
Maybe 3. The resveratrol is good for overall health.

I know, right!

I started drinking at midnight...the Rose went down really fast...so I opened the Kim Crawford Sau Blanc around 2am...and then the clock went forward an hour for daylights savings time.....I opened the third bottle around 4am....posted on the message board until 5am....went to bed...
woke up around noon...finished off that bottle and then during my 4th bottle of wine Butt Spray posted the scat and I went crazy from flashbacks of 2002'ish.....

It was bad....but I'm back and I think everything is going to be okay now....except for the fact that I just finished a bottle of Meiomi Chardonney and popped the cork on a cabernet.....

Try it with a nice cheese plate and crackers.
Then later, a filet mignon with grilled asparagus and some creamed spinach.

For dessert, a baked Alaska.
Finish with king Louis XIII cognac, and a big fat cuban cigar.

I've seen that one...but I have a philosphy on wine...

I don't buy anything less than $20 a bottle.

There is nothing worse than buying cheap wine and getting home and spitting it out.

Wine is different from liquor because you know what you get when you buy Grey Goose Vodka...

but you don't know what you get when you buy a bottle of wine from brazil, or new zealand or napa or oregon etc..etc..etc...

Wine is a crap shoot...when I get home I want to know the wine is good!

I'm lucky right now because I live in Madison WI and we have a Veterans Hospital and the University of Wisconsin Hospital...

I get BOTH!

I have hearing loss and tinnitus from Artillery so I get the VA
I have a job...so I have employer insurance...

The reason I called Uber and not 911 was because I wasn't sure about ambulance coverage...

some people have to pay for ambulance service....

I called UBER......they took me to the UW which is also the VA in the same building

My cost was ZERO!!!!

I paid only for the UBER dude....$8 plus tip...

I love America!!!!
