Uhhhhh, I know his trainwreck healthcare law is still sorta with us, but, he has been gone 3 years.

The Republicans did have 2 years to do something and have pretty much failed. Of course, now that the Impeachacrats run the house, good luck getting anything through. There are things that could be done. Here are a few things I'd like to see.

Serious deregulation of things. Give online providers freedom to implement new ideas. How much of current medical care could be done in moments through a skype connection?

Put a steak through the heart of the asinine idea of making insurance companies cover "pre-existing" conditions. You can't get homeowners insurance after your house burns down. It can't be different for healthcare. I would be fine with some sort of government single payer type thing for pre-existing conditions, so long as there are controls on it and everything doesn't become a pre-existing condition.

For the poor or others without healfcare insurance, I would be OK with a system of clinics/hospitals. They would be barebones, immune from being sued and staffed as much as possible, by students. And in the cases where uninsured people used such facilities, I would give the government the same sort of powers the IRS enjoys to get their fukking money! This would put some pressure on deadbeats to find insurance.

We ???
BOTH parties own it. The Democrats chiefly own it because they passed it on a STRICTLY partisan basis.

Obama's chief legislation was built on a series of lies.
In other words, it's the Democrat's baby. They birthed it. They lied about it. They own it.

Now, is it true that we've not come up with something better?
Absolutely.
But to let the Democrats off the hook? No fuckin way.

I'm for clinics and urgent care centers in poor neighborhoods all over the country.
No one gets turned away.
But to say that Obamacare is doing just fine? Fuck you lying left wing fucks straight to hell.

The American people are sick of the left.

They've taken control of the Democrat party and turned it into a government control shitshow.

Care to explain how this statement is different from your first one ? The poor and uninsured can go to the clinic. But if these uninsured people use these facilities (the socialized medicine facility), then we are going to send the IRS with their Gestapo type tactics to get their money from the uninsured people. How very kind of you.

The IRS is the government. Again, tell me you knew that.
This would put some pressure on deadbeats to find insurance.
The deadbeats that are poor and uninsured ? The deadbeats that do not have employer provided insurance ? The ones who cannot afford open market health insurance ? The ones who do not qualify for state health insurance programs ? Please expound on these deadbeat types some more please.

I am as conservative as they come, and don't know if single payer care is the right answer, but nothing in your circular logic makes any fucking sense at all.

You half wit.
It's not even close to socialized medicine.

When are you gonna get it thru your thick skull that socialism will never be the answer.
The founders realized that.
Today's left wants centralized government control.
Our bill of rights is not compatible with that.
We can continue having certain social programs, but never ever a system of central government control.
But that's exactly the goal of the left wing today.
They don't have the intellectual curiosity to understand why it fails throughout history

I guess I should have used pictures and smaller words.

Deadbeats-People who have the means to purchase insurance but choose not to. I would let them know that, yes, you'll get treated. But we will follow you to the ends of the earth to get paid. In the current system, they go to the hospital, get very expensive service and thumb their nose to bill collector. I would make wage garnishment part of this.

People don't buy insurance for two reasons.

It's too expensive and there are no financial consequences if they don't.

And yes, gov. run clinics are "socialized medicine".

So what?

The difference here would be that it would be barebones, immune from lawsuits, with a possible exception of criminal negligence and run as much as possible by students.

This could be done inexpensively. Would it be the highest quality care?

Nope.

Too fukkin' bad. You want better? Pay for it.

Communism is socialism. It's all about government control.
By definition, it's all centralized government control, and as such,
The antithesis of our bill of rights and our liberty.

Since you call him a nazi, your either ignorant or brainwashed or both.
But we can never be nazis because we are liberty personified. While the nazi socialists were the enemy of liberty. The exact opposite.

If you want to see examples of nazi socialists? Look no further than the left wing socialists here.
They are all about government control and dismantling our bill of rights.

Black folk don't go to the hospital. It's all the same.

Up here it's funny as hell, no one pays for healthcare, but are not happy about the healthcare they do receive. Then threaten the providers. What makes it worse is when locals are hired who don't care, because the person needing help comes from the wrong family.

My play is only going up about 6% to $26.5k+ per year for a family plan. I can honestly say that pre, during & post Obama care has meant nothing to my healthcare costs. They have risen every year for the past 20+ years, sometimes small increases other times like 88 is getting this coming year.

Paying for healthcare sucks ass.

Insurance companies, attorneys, healthcare industries & government all have their hands in the till, of course its going to be expensive.

And if you're an idiot who smokes, does drugs and eats McDonald's every day, why should we pay more taxes for your stupidity?

As a society, we need to be responsible for our very poor choices in life.

Who forced you to get high every day? Or who held a gun to your head and forced you to have 6 kids when you can't afford to take care of yourself even?

To those poor choice idiots,
You can go to the walk in clinics.
And be happy you get that.

I've seen those urgent care walk in centers, and they are pretty darn nice for illegals and criminals alike.
You get a comfy couch with bottled water. A huge 70' tv.
Copies of motor trend and cosmo.
What more could you ask for?
The staff is friendly and warm.
Etc.

I provide my employees with a high deductible HSA plan. Family premium is about $1,400 per month, with a $5K/$10K deductible. Most things are 80/20 until the deductible is met, then 100%. We have a lot of well visits and preventive stuff covered with no out of pocket. And we give the employees $5K per year to put in their HSA, so they really have no deductible. We have 30 employees now. So 17% is a fairly significant ball punch.
You could always just pay them money and stop trying to control their lives you stupid nazi fuck.

Does 88 control how employer health insurance and it’s relation to tax regulations work?

I’ll bet he’d like to see what I’d like to see which is a separation between your job and insurance. And, no I am not talking about single payer.

If insurance companies actually had to make customers happy, maybe, just maybe, they would.

How many do you employ?

Do you provide them with health insurance?

I’ll bet he’d like to see what I’d like to see which is a separation between your job and insurance. And, no I am not talking about single payer.

It is happening all over the job market place. It is called employers not providing insurance. My wife is currently working in a relief position in the emergency department of the only hospital in the area. It is an on call position, no insurance, 24 hours a week maybe, sometimes more, sometimes less.

The millennial cunt who is her supervisor has passed her and 1 other "older" lady over for full time positions and hired younger less qualified people for those full time positions. Virtually 40% or more of their work force is "relief" or part time positions. No benefits whatsoever. She had to get insurance on the government market, using a federal tax credit to get the premium where we could afford it.

In this job market, health care more than wages determine how people are hired. High deductibles are the norm, up to 10K in a lot of jobs. That kind of deductibles does a family no good at all. That $ 1,400 a month family plan with 88 contributing 5K a year is a pretty sweet deal.
