Gotta be RCMP march, it makes Scotland the Brave sound like an old boot.

Bagpipes are certainly different. Many hate them, I'm neutral. My late Mother loved them. Actually had to tag along with her to a Scottish Games in Syracuse years ago. The RCAF had a pipe band there that year. I enjoyed the guys tossing telephone poles cabers, and the young hottie lasses doing their dances.

The drum sections are the best part of a pipes band. Pipes, by themselves emit some alien screech that is unlistenable. Put a handful of them together with about a million snare drums and it sounds kind of cool.
