Mikey, that should be FRESH ginger root, of course. And garlic, gotta have minced garlic in the stir-fry. What I love about stir'fry, as mentioned above, is that there's no rules. Almost anything goes. For me, it's great when it comes time to cleaning up the fridge from whatever leftover veggies are...

You can have good or bad fish of any variety, it all depends.

I don't care if you're talking about kings, silvers or reds. Some are good, some ain't as good.

One thing is true, the fresher the better. Fish starts to loose flavor as soon as it dies.

Re: What religion would you LEAST like your child to believe

Since most posters are Protestants, or at least were raised in Protestant families, assume you have one or more children, and they, despite your best efforts, have decided to think for themselves and adopt a faith other than that in which they were raised. What religion would most piss you off? I g...

Soaking in milk is an old trick that I've used with wild game. Helps to hide any gamey taste.

I'm not sure what the science is, but I think it's something about the enzymes that help to tenderize the meat.

If you have a cooler that the bird fits into, put it in there on Sunday. (I rarely have room in my fridge to thaw a turkey.) Add five pounds of ice. Check it a couple of times a day and add more ice if needed, until thawed.

Oh, and listen to Uprising on Sunday morning.

I'm past it too. RACK MSU! In any given game, you've always got bad/missed calls. It's part of the game. Often you can reveiw a game and negate a bad call one way with another mistake on the other side somewhere else in the game. That isn't to say the calls don't matter, they're just part of the game.
