SP2 is trash, but if they are just basic users, you can install it and then just make sure that you disable the built in firewall and security center and enable the automatic download of security patches. ET, why does the firewall and security center need to be disabled, for simple basic use? Trust...

Disect this read, if you will

CLICK HERE I do not agree with all of what is said, and I understand how certain industries could suffer losses, but I do not understand how I am hurting anything or anyone by using a P2P source and pulling a few songs. 99% of the shit I pull, I already bought years ago on cassette, or LP's and jus...

From what I have read here and at various sites online, it seems to be worthy of using over IE. What do you personally like about it so much, and ........ can I still use IE if ...

How about making the old drive a "slave," attach it to your new computer IDE cable and copy the directories over? That's what I was thinking, too. It's pretty easily done and requires nothing more than moving a jumper and making a couple of connections. You probably won't be able to trans...

Start - Programs - Accessories - System Tools - File and Settings Transfer Wizard. Run it on the new one to make a disk/program for the old one, install and then run it on the old one. Now restore it to the new one. You're welcome. Did that before I even posted. Wizard only allows you to save it on...

Ok, got my new pc...... SWEET! Vega to Vette....... more on that later. I have a few programs saved on the old one, along with one or two songs, that I can no longer obtain, not for free at least. How do I move them onto my new pc? I tried a patch cable. I have not tried the new beta version ..... yet. BUT.... I did use the version that Giant offered and I was going to buy it the day that Microsoft went and bought them out, back in December. I had some serious spyware issues back in November, and tried over a dozen products. Being at my wits end, I ...

Re: speaking of mp3's

i challenge you to search an album and not find it. Ok..... nope, they don't have Shrimp Boat's "Cavale". I've heard good things about that site. But I'll never pay a cent for an mp3 so I'll pass. Its legality is also in question. I cant trust the jack off at the corner gas station with m...

Is it really the same? Who makes their boards, who makes their memory, who makes their disk drives (if it's western digital you better back up often.). The specs don't mean it's an equivelant machine. Little details like that, are why I am asking people here. If it looks like Jeff Garcia, and acts ...
