They submitted the names of several of the MS engineers who worked on the IETF committe that developed IPv6. Apperen...

Sounds like a spyware infection maybe? Are you trying to re-install from scratch? Linux autoboot cds can be great for initially looking at the file structure and formating the drive. You can also get DBAN (Darik's Boot and Nuke) to just nuke the HD and then reinstall with the windows CD. (Hint: DBAN...

If you still don't see it, sometimes its the CD's problem. May just need to get another one. It could also be a problem with your CD player so you could try the CD in another computer to see if it will work in there. Thats assuming that the boot from CD feature is enabled and you do what DiT said ab...

http://news.com.com/Hackers+build+backdoor+into+iTunes/2100-1027_3-5625991.html Interesting. This could be an interesting battle in the courts and with the way that apple has been dealing with hackers, I'd say it will surely end up in court sooner or later. They aren't hacking anything in theory. Al...

Gmail will soon be released to everyone
Better use up all your invitations because Gmail is about to go public. They are going to be inviting random Google users first and then when the system is ready for a large influx of users, they will probably put up a signup page for anyone who wants to join.

The short answer is NO there is not. Why? Its not because the OO community doesn't want you to have that capability. No the reason is that MS makes it a secret so that no one else can read their files unless they dish out some $$$. You do have some choices. OO does have a publisher client that you c...

You have both the computer and PS2 hooked up, one through the USB port and the other by ethernet at the same time? Won't work that way. You could alternate I suppose and disconnect your computer from the Cable Modem and then it should work. You need to go out and buy a router like a newer linksys or...

Being active in the fire/EMS system, I heard about this movie long before it came out. I had all the intention of going to see it in the theater, but managed to miss it. Not bad, especially if you use some of the other features. I like the fact that under the contacts file, you can import your contacts from just about anything. I'd also be interested in trying out Whups, which is a ticket tracking system. Might be useful for work. I could run a server here and allow...

Funny you should mention this problem. What kind of a DSL modem do you have? I had a linksys router and a cable modem at a place I lived at and it would do something similar every few days.
