The real #1 seed won last night .....

Louisville is playing some great ball right now, as is WVU. Future Big East matchup will be a good one on Saturday.

There is no reason to have 2 guys guarding the guy inbounding the ball. With .7 seconds left there shouldn't have been anyone guarding him.

You could also throw Louisville into the mix, since they already consider themselves in the Big East. They are also playing some good ball right now.

Props to Villanova. That was a thorough spanking. Matt Walsh is indeed the biggest pussy in college basketball.

Notice no mention of WVU, UConn or 'Nova.

WVU is playing some solid ball right now, as is 'Nova.

Potential 2nd-round game between Louisville and Ga. Tech. Louisville is rolling right now. I have them winning that region. The toughest game for me was Charlotte-NC State. Charlotte has played pretty badly the last couple of weeks, but they are a team that can do some damage if they hit the three'...

Good start. I don't have any major upsets for today.

I do have UAB advancing to the Sweet 16, and, as much as I know they choke this time of year, Cincinnati beating Kentucky.

Probably the best year for it to happen. Each #1 seed could face a pretty daunting opponent in the later rounds, so it could happen.

Re: Just a cool story I wanted to share

I think that that was just TOO cool for the ACC coach of the year to respond. Seth Greenberg? In all seriousness, that is a very cool story. I am sure your daughter was pretty excited about knowing the Coach took time to respond and invite her back. My daughter is 14 months and she has gone with me...

to me college athletics is football and men's basketball. I can't get excited about women's basketball (sorry, Babs) or college baseball (sorry, Lefty). I know ND won a women's National Championship in basketball recently and they normally have a very good baseball team, so why not be excited that ...

But, read the following from the 4th rated conference, and you all can see it was a 6 team no brainer for the Big Least. I don't think anyone is shocked ND didn't get in. Had they beaten Rutgers and maybe taken another game in Big East Tournament, then maybe you get 7 teams in. As far as the 4th ra...

As I understand it, beginning next season each Big East team will have a home-and-home against three other teams, and will not play two teams. Not sure if the two DNP teams will be the same for every team every year (probably not), but that looks like a recipe for a future split to me. Correct on t...

The worst Big East team, St. John's was 2-1 against the ACC with the only loss being a 7 point one to Duke. Former Big East cellar dwellers VT and Miami had a 4 and a 8 seed respectively in the ACC Tournament. The Big East has won the last 2 National Championships with UConn beating 2 ACC teams in l...

Props to your Bulls. Part of me thinks that not every team should be allowed to play in conference tournaments...eliminate some teams after the regular season if they're low enough in the standings. If that was to happen, you wouldn't get the nice stories like USF making a run in the Conference USA...

No other way to describe to it

March Madness is awesome. It's been so long for our team to do anything of substance, but knocking off 2 Top 20 teams in a week is indescribable. Also, having Huggins throw his hands up in the air after being thoroughly outcoached makes it worth it if we get knocked out tomorrow.

Virginia Tech is 5th in standings  cmon! 4th Seed in the ACC tournament. Granted, they have one nice win (Duke), but they also have some bad losses (St. John's).
